The Hafod colleague making the referral will be known as the ‘colleague’ and will qualify for the payment of £200 for a referral to a care role or £400 for a referral to a nurse role (subject to the normal tax and National Insurance contributions) should all the following conditions be met:
The Colleague must:
- Be an employee of Hafod
- Be aged 18 or over
- Have recommended to the Promoter an individual who subsequently starts work with Hafod and passes their probation period.
- Have consent from the person being recommended (the “new colleague”)
- Be named by the new colleague in the New Colleague Refer a Friend Confirmation form
- Complete a Colleague Refer a Friend form prior to the new colleague being offered a post with Hafod.
- Not be under disciplinary action at the time of payment
The New Colleague must:
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- Not already be an employee of Hafod, or worked for Hafod before, either directly or via agency
- Have completed the New Colleague Refer a Friend Confirmation form whilst onboarding
- Have successfully completed their probation period and be confirmed in their position of employment.
- Not be under notice of resignation or disciplinary action at the time of payment
This scheme is only applicable to care vacancies, however an employee from any part of Hafod may refer a candidate to a care role.
Once the Promoter has carried out the necessary checks to ensure that the colleague qualifies for the promotion the Promoter will pay the Colleague the appropriate payment into the UK bank account the Promoter has on file for them.
The Colleague can recommend a maximum of two people for care roles or one person for a nurse role in a 12 month period. Payments made in one 12 month period cannot exceed £400.
By submitting a referral the Colleague is deemed to accept these terms and conditions.
The promotion is not open to past employees of the Promoter.
The Promoter reserves the right to change or close the promotion at any time and without notice.
The promotion is not open to Recruitment Advisors, Hiring Managers or members of the interview panel associated with the job vacancy of which the New Colleague was successful.
Only one introduction bonus will be paid for each new employee hired. If more than one eligible colleague refers the same successful job applicant, the introduction bonus will be paid to the colleague whose name is submitted on the New Colleague Refer a Friend Confirmation form first in line with the procedure.
The introduction bonus is subject to appropriate tax and national insurance deductions.
This scheme starts with effect from 7 November 2022
