This significant milestone marks the start of the next phase of construction and brings Hafod a significant step closer to providing these high-quality apartments in the heart of Cardiff city centre.
Located in Grangetown, this development will transform the site of the former Bottleworks into 74 energy efficient apartments.
Track 2000, a £17.6m project, is Hafod’s first entry into market rent, with 34 of the apartments allocated for this purpose and 40 apartments for social rent. The development sees high quality apartments with great transport links and access to local amenities.
A socially conscious organisation focused on building communities, Hafod’s development ambitions are centred around making and shaping places where people want to live, built on the belief that a good home and strong community are crucial for well-being.
The development is being constructed by the Hale Group, who began work onsite in March 2023, and is funded by the Welsh Government’s Social Housing Grant through Cardiff Council.
