Hafod has earned a spot the 2024 UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ list
The 2024 UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ by Great Place To Work® UK, recognises Hafod in the super large company category.
The UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ rankings include organisations who have succeeded in making their employees experience high levels of wellbeing in their workplace. To compile the prestigious list, Great Place To Work culture experts analysed thousands of employee surveys, assessing their holistic experiences of wellbeing at work through fundamental facets of employee wellbeing, including: work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, and financial security. Evaluations also included an assessment of how well the organisation was able to deliver consistency of their employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.
Karen Rosser, Director of People, Communications and IT says: "It's wonderful news we are included on this list. We're proud that trust remains a top priority within Hafod and that our colleagues believe it's a great place to work. I’m very proud to be part of such a tremendous team."
Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place To Work UK says: “Wellbeing, engagement, and trust between employees are critical ingredients to successful workplace culture. It’s no secret that by ensuring employees feel genuinely trusted and cared for, they are much healthier, productive and committed to the mission and purpose of the organisation. Congratulations to Hafod for making this prestigious list!”
Our 2023 Great Place to Work results
In 2023, our colleagues were invited to take part in our third Great Place to Work survey. This is a key opportunity for our colleagues to share their experience and views about what it’s like working at Hafod, whether good, bad or indifferent we want to hear it. Our aim is to further understand our workplace culture and importantly measure levels of trust within Hafod so that we can take action to improve our colleagues’ experience in work.
In 2021 and 2022 our colleague feedback certified us as a Great Place to Work with overall trust levels increasing to 68% in 2022. We also achieved the status of being a Great Place to Work for Women for the second year running. Given that women make up 83% of our colleagues this is particularly pleasing. While we’re thrilled to be recognised by Great Place to Work, we also know there’s lots more we can work on to improve everyone’s time at work, we’ll be using our colleagues’ feedback to take action about the things that matter the most to them.
